About The Position
Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School is seeking a skilled and collaborative Pit Orchestra Pianist for its spring production of The Sound of Music . This individual will serve as the primary accompanist for the pit orchestra, working closely with the director, vocalists, and student musicians to deliver a high-quality theatrical performance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as principal pianist for all rehearsals and performances
- Collaborate with the stage director, music director, and choreographer to ensure cohesive musical interpretation
- Ensure proper tempo, balance, and synchronization with onstage action
- Attend and actively participate in all required rehearsals and performances
