About The Position

ABOUT THE JOB In this role you will have the opportunity to ensure safe material handling duties. Our fast-paced work environment requires that our forklift and other powered industrial trucks are operated in a safe and efficient manner. You will play a key role in ensuring we meet daily production demands while also complying with our expectations for safe PIT operation. YOUR ROLE: The bullet points below reflect roughly 80% of your job. We are a fast-paced company, you may be pulled in a variety of different directions with tasks added or changed. Safely operate powered industrial truck - always putting associate safety above production output. Move product utilizing various types of powered industrial trucks, including sit down, and stand up. Utilize Handheld scanner and E-21 or Great Plains to accurately place and retrieve needed materials in a timely manner. Responsible for daily PIT Inspections. Other duties as assigned or defined by the area Supervisor or Group Lead.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
  • Ability to obtain Fork Lift Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
