This role involves operating front-end loaders and other mobile equipment to safely load aggregates for production and shipment, inspecting equipment, maintaining consistent material flow, and adhering to safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in an aggregates or industrial environment
  • Strong safety awareness with the capability to follow established procedures
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment inspections
  • Dependable work habits with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Clear communication skills and willingness to learn
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities

  • Operate front-end loaders and other mobile equipment to safely load aggregates for production and shipment
  • Inspect equipment before, during, and after operation and report maintenance needs promptly
  • Maintain consistent material flow to support pit production and plant operations
  • Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines at all times
  • Communicate effectively with teammates to coordinate daily activities
