This role involves operating a pit loader safely and efficiently to move raw materials, performing routine equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and loading/transporting materials within the site, all while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
  • Strong awareness of safety standards and compliance requirements
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform tasks in demanding outdoor conditions
  • Commitment to maintaining equipment and reporting issues promptly
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Responsibilities

  • Operate pit loader safely and efficiently to move raw materials
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
  • Load and transport materials to designated areas within the site
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations
