About The Position

PTS Advance is looking for a local Piping Designer for a long term contract in Billings, Montana. Refinery experience highly desired Start date: May 4th Pay rate $58-$61 hr, DOE Work schedule: 5 days a week - 10 hours a day to start. No per diem TWIC card required

Requirements

• 5+years of experience in Piping Design role or worked in a similar capacity in a previous role
• In depth knowledge of Piping standards, methods, and practices
• Experience with utilizing 3D modeling and point cloud workflows
• Must be able to work safely in an office and refinery environment
• Must be able to perform field walk downs
• Must be able to work both individually and on a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• AAS Degree or 2+ years of equivalent craft / designer work
• AutoCAD (or equivalent)
• CADWorx Plant (or equivalent)
• Basic computer/PC skills
• Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be able to acquire a TWIC card
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background screen
• Pre employment training needed before start (details will be given)

Responsibilities

• Creating and revising Piping drawings throughout the design and MOC processes
• Assembling Piping design packages that will be utilized for construction purposes
• Providing design assistance throughout all phases of projects
• Tracking and reporting progress for current and future Piping Projects
