About The Position

Receive and process incoming orders and provide thorough documentation. Pulling, filling, packing, and setting up orders for delivery or pickup. Pipe Yard Associate with experience handling Pipe / Long Goods (up to 42’) using 10k+ forklift and/or Combi-Lift in an outdoor environment. Order fulfillment, loading, offloading orders. Staging, organizing pipes utilizing a 22k forklift and combi lift to move single and double random pipe in the yard. Support drivers, warehouse staff and sales teams as needed. Ability to determine the status of an order when requested. Ability to follow special instructions pertaining to an individual order. Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person. Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to supervisor. Assist with order expediting and completing UPS shipments. Assist in keeping the warehouse clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently. Process returns accurately. Follow all established policies and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace. Attending product knowledge meetings as required by management. Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required. Present a neat and professional image. Follow company policies and procedures.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
1-2 yrs. Previous warehouse experience, material and pipe handling preferred.
Effective communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
General inventory knowledge, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills may be required.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Operates forklifts in compliance with Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
Able to work independently with some direction and as a team player.
Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures.
Comfortable in fast-paced environment.
Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities.
Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
Ability to work overtime if necessary.
Pass drug screen and background check.
