Job Title: Piper I Location: Conyers, GA Summary: Performs brazing to install refrigeration components and assists with unit layout and setup in accordance with established standards by performing the following duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, bend, assemble and install copper and steel tubing.
• Use Torch to apply solder, (braze copper to copper pipes)
• Brazing Fundamentals
• Operate Copper Saw
• Operate Tube Bender
• Flare Making
• Suction Piping
• Discharge Piping
• Pressurizes and leak checks units
• Other duties may be assigned
