About The Position

We are hiring a Pipeline Integrity Trainee! This is a great entry level position to learn key skills for a great career in NDT and pipeline integrity! Ideal candidates are preferred to have experience working in construction or outdoors in inclement weather (heat, snow, etc.) and the ability to travel at least 75% of the time. This is a union position with free health insurance and an employer funded pension! The main duties include: Assist Pipeline Integrity Technician in work execution and daily tasks assigned as required and assigned. Prepare, set-up, and complete all necessary paperwork as required by client and company requirements under direct supervision. Collect dig site data required for a full pipeline integrity assessment. Understand PHMSA requirements regarding pipeline integrity. Responsible for replenishing and organizing the required supplies, as needed, to perform assign methods. Responsible for cleanliness of all work areas and vehicles. Observes test procedures and processes to learn internal and industry specifications and procedures including pipeline integrity. Observe and learn the procedures required to perform work and to gain certification in the required NDT methods. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • This is an entry level position with minimum or no experience required.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • Must meet minimum company requirements to operate a company vehicle and be eligible for coverage under Company insurance program

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in NDT industry is preferred.
  • Experience in working outdoors such as construction in extremely variable temperatures preferred.
