About The Position

Repsol is hiring a Pipeline Integrity Technician to support the Eagle Ford Asset within the Unconventional Business Unit. This role is based primarily from the field in Runge and/or Three Rivers, Texas. The Pipeline Integrity Technician is responsible for supporting the safe and reliable operation of pipeline assets through the execution and continuous improvement of a comprehensive integrity and pigging program. This role works closely with Integrity Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and third‑party contractors to plan, schedule, and safely execute pigging and preventative maintenance activities while ensuring full regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include tracking and optimizing pipeline operations, managing work orders to completion, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, conducting required inspections and documentation, and coordinating with landowners and regulators as needed. As the integrity program evolves, the role may also support inline inspection (ILI), corrosion monitoring, pipe cutouts, and other integrity‑related activities. This position is ideal for an operations or maintenance professional with oil and gas experience who brings a strong safety mindset, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to pipeline integrity and reliability.

Requirements

  • Full U.S. work authorization without restrictions, conditions, or current/future sponsorship.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary technical or pipeline training coursework is a plus but not required.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations and/or maintenance in the oil and gas industry. Preferably in Texas
  • Must have a working knowledge of valves, separation, instrumentation, process safety systems, and other process related functions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SCADA systems and computerized maintenance management systems.
  • Must have excellent computer skills and familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and related software
  • Required to possess or attain knowledge of regulations governing pipeline operations and maintenance and related regulatory requirements.
  • Required to possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
  • Willing and able to complete required Operator Qualification (OQ) training prior to conducting field operations and maintenance
  • Comfortable working in the field and coordinating with contractors
  • Comfortable with a non‑exempt role that may include overtime, callouts, nights/weekends as needed

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to ensure that pipeline integrity is maintained by building and executing an effective pigging program with input by the integrity engineer.
  • Track pigging maintenance operations, review data, optimize schedule and build the associated procedures.
  • Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure work is scheduled in advance and have the flexibility to adjust schedule if needed.
  • Work orders will need to be tracked to completion.
  • Communication to all parties will be key to success of this position.
  • Continuous improvements of process control and preventative maintenance, to include corrective maintenance as needed.
  • Ensure all safety protocol and related procedures are adhered to while working with third party Contractors conducting pigging operations.
  • Conduct inspections and surveys as required by Regulations and to ensure proper completion and documentation to be completed.
  • Interact with landowners and public to ensure the safety of all pipelines and pipeline assets also to ensure proper compliance with regulations.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Reliability team, develop initiatives, and promote safety, reliable production, and instilling core values.
  • As the program is expanded this position could include ILI inspection tools, pulling and analyzing corrosion coupon data, pipe cutouts, or any other reasonable activity required by management.
