About The Position

North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) provides vital wholesale water, wastewater and solid waste management services to more than two million people who call North Texas their home. The Pipeline Crewleader assists in assigning the daily tasks to the Facilities Services personnel and checks on jobs in all Systems to assure accuracy and completion.

Requirements

Required to obtain a Class C Water Distribution or a Class II Wastewater Collections Certification from TCEQ within 12 months of Hire/Promotion
Requires a Class “A” CDL.
Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
Must develop knowledge of the NTMWD water transmission and wastewater collection systems.
Must be able to effectively communicate in person, by telephone and/or by radio.
Must have the knowledge and ability to read and understand Right-of-Way and Easement Drawings.
Must be able to perform mathematical calculations, scale distances from plans, and measure distances on the ground.
