About The Position

This position is for a Pipe/Tank Finisher on the night shift. The role involves operating finishing equipment, using measuring equipment, and maintaining a clean and orderly work area. The individual will be responsible for completing manufacturing tasks with minimum supervision, adhering to all company policies, HSE, and Quality guidelines. The job requires the ability to work overtime and shift work, read pressure gauges, pipe labels, and specifications, and possess good vision for safe forklift operation. Physical demands include standing, walking, bending/stooping, and repetitive movements for up to 12 hours daily, as well as regularly lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing/pulling. The role also involves assisting with On Job Training for new employees and requires travel less than 10%.

Requirements

  • Must be a certified forklift operator
  • Use Saws and Hand tools
  • Ability to read pressure gauges
  • Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
  • Ability to read labels on pipe along with specs on paper
  • Good vision required for safe operation of forklift
  • Standing up to 12 hours daily
  • Walking up to 12 hours daily
  • Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
  • Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
  • Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Regularly
  • Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily
  • Travel less than 10%
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Three years of verifiable work history
  • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties as required
  • Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations
