About The Position

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to join our Power & Industrial Team. This is an entry-level position and is based out of Bothell, WA . YOUR ROLE Work closely with a multi‑discipline engineering team, collaborators, and clients. Assist with basic pipe stress analysis for power and industrial piping systems under the guidance of senior engineers. Support the modeling of piping systems using stress‑analysis software to help evaluate flexibility, stability, and equipment nozzle loads. Proactively gather information and ask questions to complete tasks accurately and on schedule. Help balance tasks across multiple projects while maintaining a strong commitment to safety. Build positive working relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients. Prepare clear, organized calculations with proper references and assumptions. Learn about pipe materials, valves, relief valves, and control valves. Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as needed. Assist in communicating questions to equipment suppliers and reviewing technical documents. Occasional travel to project sites for installation verification of piping work

Requirements

  • Any field experience in construction, industrial, or piping is a plus
  • Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering degree from an ABET accredited college/university.
  • Any CAD experience and any experience with Navisworks, AutoPipe, or Caesar
  • Proficient interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.
  • Capability to develop technical writings and reports.
