The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex engineering concepts effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering required.
  • Expertise in Finite Element Analysis tools such as NASTRAN and FEMAP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with 3D solid modeling using CATIA V5—ability to manipulate and extract data from models.
  • Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.

  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Visual Basic (VB), or MATLAB is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Experience with stress analysis of composite primary structures (experience with metallic structures is highly desirable).
  • Conduct detailed stress analysis using both classical hand calculation methods (e.g., Bruhn, Peery, Roark, ESDU) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
