About The Position

We are seeking a motivated Pipe Shop Assistant to support the daily operations of our pipe fabrication shop. The ideal candidate will have prior pipe shop experience, be safety-conscious, and able to assist with various shop tasks to keep production running smoothly.

Requirements

• Prior pipe shop assistant experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic job instructions and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of pipe fitting, cutting, and threading techniques preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the fabrication, cutting, threading, and assembly of pipes and related components.
• Prepare materials and tools for use by pipe fabricators.
• Clean, organize, and maintain the pipe shop area, including tools and equipment.
• Inspect materials for defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials, including heavy lifting when required.
• Follow safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Support team members with general shop tasks as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of materials used and tasks completed.
