About The Position

This is not a Student Employment Position. This is a student volunteer experience. Volunteer experience participants receive monthly stipend payments. The Pilot Express Director is responsible for coordinating the Pilot Express rider program from campus to the airport on breaks including Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break, and Easter. The service does NOT run during Fall move-in or Spring move-out time frames. Additional services such as rides to the train station and weekly grocery store runs may be implemented if the Director and drives have the capacity.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills, particularly able to reduce anxiety or stress when adjustments need to be made to schedules.
Knowledge of how to use Microsoft Excel and Word as a planning and administrative tools are required.
Must be available to serve during the times when Pilot Express is in operation.
Must hold a valid driver’s license
Must hold a driving record that is absent of any severe violations
Must be oriented, trained, and certified through Campus Safety Safe Driving Course

Nice To Haves

Organizational and time management skills are preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication are preferred.
