About The Position
As a Cashier, you will be responsible for keeping your area neat, clean, well stocked and ready to serve our guests. Provide quality service to each guest in a courteous and efficient manner while always displaying a pleasant and enthusiastic attitude. You will efficiently handle the guest payment with a point of sale register system. You will need to be able to process Food Stamps, WIC Vouchers, and Government Programs with accuracy during face time with customer. This location, operated by Convenience Stores Inc- a subsidiary of Jones Petroleum, is looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated individuals looking to assist in our growing Retail Operation. We are a privately owned COMMUNITY ORIENTED company. Our Team Members put CUSTOMER SERVICE as their 1st PRIORITY! Our Team Members are team players and work well with their team including being engaged and displaying pleasant and enthusiastic attitude. All Team Members are treated fairly with dignity and respect. Team members are required to follow the site specific / brand specific procedures for offering consistent and quality customer experiences.
Requirements
- High School or equivalent
- Accurate money handling skills are required, and the ability to handle basic math addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
- Good communication skills
- Good personal grooming habits.
- All positions require open availability and no special accommodations can be made or guaranteed.
- Crew Schedules are determined by business needs therefore all schedules must be flexible.
- This position is VARIABLE, which means changing schedules are a requirement of this job.
- Physical requirements include standing up to 8 hours during a shift and able to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Requires you to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.

- Previous Grocery experience is preferred.
