Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1–3 years in manufacturing or plant operations preferred (willing to train candidates with high aptitude).
Proficiency with hand tools and shop equipment (band saws, drill presses).
Strong mechanical aptitude: experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or rotating equipment is a plus.
Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting.
Ability to obtain/maintain forklift certification is required
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 80 lbs. (utilizing proper lifting techniques or assistance where required).

Responsibilities

Perform precision assembly of products according to established work instructions and technical blueprints.
Operate shop machinery, including band saws and drill presses, with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
Execute professional boxing and packaging of finished products for shipment or warehouse storage.
Operate forklifts with precision to move materials throughout the facility safely.
Conduct rigorous in-process quality inspections to ensure all products meet brand standards.
Adhere to 6S/Lean Manufacturing standards to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Proactively report safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, or process deviations to leadership.
Participate in Kaizen activities and suggest process enhancements to drive efficiency.
Assist the maintenance team with preventive maintenance (PM) and minor mechanical repairs within the operator scope.
Collaborate across departments, assisting in other production areas as needed to meet team goals.
