About The Position

Picking Representative Location: Amherst, NY The range for this position starts at $16.50-$18.50/hour, depending on experience, qualifications and location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process. Essential Functions Complete customer orders by picking, and checking material, in an accurate and efficient manner Picking – per the Transfer Order (T.O.) or other designated means, pick product from designated storage locations Checking – during every phase of picking, check product and order information to ensure order accuracy Maintain knowledge of work functionality and Quality standards by attending training classes/sessions, as defined by manager/supervisor or delegate Maintain current Key Performance Indicator(s) (KPI) as directed by supervisor/delegate, and as per annual DIALOG Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to Ivoclar's LEAN 5S program including (but not limited to) keeping workstations neat, aisles and pathways clear of debris and clutter Stock / replenish inventory and supplies to maintain correct and efficient levels ensuring complete customer (internal and external) fulfillment Willingness to work extended hours and overtime, when required Work with other employees in a team approach to achieve departmental objectives by maintaining accuracy and preventing error in customer orders Compliance with the use of personal protective equipment as required by law and Ivoclar Vivadent Inc. guidelines and policy Follow all Ivoclar Vivadent Fulfillments Module (MOD), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), policies, and work instructions to fulfill all orders, including customer requirements when applicable Assist Pack Complete customer orders by packing, shipping, and checking material, in an accurate and efficient manner Packing – per the Transfer Order (T.O.) or other means, place product in appropriate boxes, envelopes or other means securing the parcel for designated transport to customer Shipping – per the Transfer Order (T.O.) or other means, utilize designated shipping systems to ship parcels and freight to customer Checking – during every phase of packing / shipping, check product and order information to ensure order accuracy.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • General knowledge and ability to work with computers required. Signing on, using passwords, opening / closing windows applications
  • Ability and dexterity to work in a fast-paced standing/moving position for long periods of time required
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear ANSI or ASTM certified safety shoes for 8 hours per day

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in warehouse setting, with specific skills relating to picking, helpful
  • Prior SAP experience, and or prior RF scanner experience helpful

Responsibilities
