About The Position

Our growing client is seeking a dependable Receiving & Picking Technician to support warehouse and production operations in their facility near Clifton Park, NY. This role is cross-trained across receiving and picking functions, with responsibilities assigned based on daily workload and business needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a temporary to hire role.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Basic verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer proficiency
Ability to learn inventory systems and warehouse processes
Equivalent combinations of experience and training will be considered

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks and move materials from receiving to inventory locations
Verify part numbers, quantities, and purchase order details against packing slips and system records
Inspect incoming materials for accuracy and damage, and communicate discrepancies to purchasing or suppliers
Enter received inventory into the inventory management system
Electronically file packing slips and receiving documentation
Respond to inventory-related questions from internal teams
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment
Pick work order parent items from inventory and deliver materials to production
Complete pull tickets and required documentation accurately
Verify picked materials are correct, undamaged, and complete
Communicate shortages or issues to the department supervisor promptly
Complete MTS sheets during the picking process
Perform cycle count audits and reporting as assigned
Assist with inventory-related inquiries
Uphold high standards for safety, accuracy, and organization
