The daily tasks for this position include: Providing exceptional client service by updating them on the status of their case through phone calls, text messaging, and emails. Reviewing documents to ensure accuracy. Keeping thorough documentation in the case management system. Manage the retrieval and processing of medical records and bills. Maintaining physical custody of the file and keeping it organized and updated appropriately. Providing professional assistance to the attorney assigned to the file. This role will have a lower caseload and assist with covering for others when they are on vacation or LOAs. This role handles files in the pre-litigation status. This position does not handle litigation after a suit is filed on a case. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Outlook and Needles Case Management software.
  • Associate's degree (A. A. / A. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
