See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality: Position Overview: Responsible for constructing and repairing fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts. This role involves using a variety of tools and materials to ensure high-quality finishes and structural integrity. Essential Functions: Examine and measure boat parts and components to ensure they meet specified standards and tolerances. Use precision tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines, to verify dimensions and detect defects or inconsistencies. Meticulously document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of quality checks. Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or marine environment.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
  • Excellent attention to detail for identifying defects and inconsistencies in parts and components.
  • Ability to meticulously document inspection findings and maintain accurate records.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Advanced proficiency with precision measuring tools and equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Strong ability to meticulously document inspection findings and maintain accurate records.
