Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers of Colorado (RMCC) has an opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated medical physicist as a result of a retiring physics staff member. Minimum requirements include: a master's degree in medical physics with ABR certification and an understanding of the systems listed below. The immediate opening would be at our Lone Tree site at Sky Ridge Medical Center. The successful candidate would join another experienced physicist in covering this busy practice treating roughly 40-50 patient per day on 2 linear accelerators (1 Varian Edge and a 1 Varian iX which is to be replaced by the end of 2025). With a caseload of approximately 150 SBRTs and 50 SRS cases per year, we also have a low volume of HDR cases (Bracy Vision - mainly cylinders) and are currently in the process of implementing a Gamma Tile program. This site operates in an Aria/Eclipse environment with the RadFormation suite. You will also be joining a larger group of RMCC Physicist's who work collaboratively to assure coverage and allow everyone to take our valuable time off and attend meetings (we each get 1 fully paid meeting / year).
