About The Position

HealthFIRST Bluegrass is seeking a mission-driven Primary Care Physician to provide high‑quality care to patients in our Federally Qualified Health Center. Join a compassionate team committed to accessible healthcare for all.

The Physician provides comprehensive Primary Care, exercises independent clinical judgment, and ensures timely, complete documentation. Responsibilities include preventive care, diagnosis and treatment of acute/chronic conditions, reviewing labs and imaging, and participating in after-hours coverage, team huddles, and quality initiatives.

Requirements

• MD or DO with completed accredited residency
• Licensed or eligible for KY medical license (must be licensed before start)
• Valid DEA
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (or equivalent demonstrated competency)
• Meets CME requirements

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-spectrum primary care for adults, children, and GYN patients
• Provide preventive services per USPSTF, Bright Futures & AAP guidelines
• Review labs/imaging promptly and communicate results to patients
• Complete medical records within 48 hours
• Participate in peer review, team meetings, and student/resident precepting
• Meet productivity and quality standards
