About The Position

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply. The nature of the work involves the various clinical functions of Employee Occupational Health to include providing appropriate care for employees in an occupational health setting and ensuring ultimate responsibility for determining if an applicant or employee meets required physical or medical standards for their position in the facility. This position will also include occasional coverage of a limited hour weekday Urgent Care including related rapid response team coverage. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package. The Administrative Medical Officer(AMO)for Employee Health will provide employee occupational health services in the work environment and will be responsible for administering the Employee Occupational Health program. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm(shifts between the hours of 7am-6:30pm may be routinely needed -shift examples 7a-3:30pm, 10am-6:30pm)
