About The Position

The Physician Relationship Manager (PRM) is responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with primary care providers and designated specialty practices across assigned hospitals. The PRM serves as a shared resource between facilities, working in close collaboration with the Directors of Provider Relations (DPRs) to ensure alignment with service line growth strategies. This role is aligned under the Regional Director of Business Development to ensure balanced coverage across both hospitals while supporting facility-level priorities. The PRM focuses on practice level outreach, referral development, and service recovery to improve physician satisfaction and strengthen alignment to the Valley Health System.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (business, healthcare administration, marketing, or related field preferred)
  • 3-5 years of experience in provider relations, physician liaison, healthcare sales, or practice operations required.
  • Proficiency in CRM and analytics tools for tracking referrals and provider interactions.
  • Working knowledge of physician practice operations and hospital service lines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and gain credibility with physicians and office staff.
  • Ability to analyze referral patterns and develop action-oriented growth plans.
  • Effective service recovery and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple practices and priorities across facilities.
