The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully placing physicians in a variety of specialties and a deep understanding of the physician recruitment landscape. M-F, Daytime hours Candidate must reside in San Antonio, Texas area Hybrid Work Model- (50% in-office; 50% remote)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience is required
  • Three years of experience in physician recruitment is required, preferably in a hospital or healthcare system setting
  • Proven track record of successfully placing physicians in a variety of specialties.
  • Strong understanding of physician compensation models.
  • Excellent sourcing and networking skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with physician candidates and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Proactively source candidates through various channels, including online job boards, professional networking sites, and physician databases.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physician candidates, hospital leadership, and other key stakeholders.
  • The physician recruiter will work to meet the physician development strategies and goals identified in the Manpower Plan.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely communication throughout the process.
  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings, including verifying credentials, and checking references.
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and track key metrics, such as time-to-fill and candidate pipeline.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, recruitment best practices, and relevant regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Work closely with the onboarding and operations team to ensure a smooth transition for new physician hires.
