Summary: The Physician Recruiter is a key member of the recruitment team and interacts with senior executives of the organization. This role manages all aspects of the Physician Recruitment Process including the research and compilation of key physician demographic information; appropriate identification and screening of candidates for further evaluation, assuring compliance with all recruitment guidelines and regulations. The Recruiter will be involved in all aspects from identification of ideal candidates for presentation to the organization’s Growth Committee and hiring practice leaders to employment contract presentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required
  • Requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in physician recruitment.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills, a history of achieving results.
  • Ability to function independently (minimal direct supervision) yet also work effectively as a member of the Physician Recruiting & Support team.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of physicians, staff members, and senior management to develop positive relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data to ascertain benefits/risks of potential candidates.
  • Ability to educate candidates on the benefits of being a member of a large multi-specialty, independent healthcare organization.
  • Excellent professional presence and customer service skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including superior grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Strong computer technology skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and use of internet.
