About The Position

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Radiology seek general diagnostic radiologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor). The WVU Department of Radiology provides state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging. We promote, develop, and integrate advances in imaging technology and imaging-based therapeutic procedures to complement the clinical, educational and research missions of WVU. Facility and imaging equipment is of the highest quality with outstanding clinical infrastructure in place.

Requirements

• Applicants must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical licensure in states where imaging services are provided by WVU Medicine.
• Successful candidate must have completed a radiology residency program and be board certified / eligible in radiology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Practice in diagnostic radiology
• Involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Providing excellent patient care
