Job Title: Physician – Pulmonology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Cooperstown, NY Service Setting: Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: ASAP – September 2026 Clinical Shift Schedule: 8a – 5p PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: 14–18 patients per day Case Mix: Pulmonology cases FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level 3 EMR System: Epic Support Staff Available: APP on staff; 2 MDs on staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Credentialing Timeline: 60–120 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active New York license required Board: Board Certified in Pulmonology DEA: Required Experience: Pulmonology experience required Other Qualifications: Epic experience preferred DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate and manage pulmonology patients Work alongside APP and MD team Perform procedures as required once confirmed Complete onboarding and credentialing processes
Requirements
- Active New York license required
- Board Certified in Pulmonology
- DEA: Required
- Pulmonology experience required
