About The Position

This physician will join the Academic practice of Community Health Network’s Psychiatry Residency Program in Indianapolis, Indiana as an employed physician. Community Health Network seeks a BE/BC Psychiatrist for a core residency faculty role within our ACGME-accredited community-based psychiatry residency program. Our program is designed to provide exceptional physician training using a robust array of mental health service experiences combined with a comprehensive didactic curriculum. The faculty are committed to prepare residents to succeed at the forefront of the evolving role of psychiatry in the delivery of healthcare. Ideal candidates will have previous faculty/teaching experience. Physicians who are core faculty will work with the residency program as their primary activity, with delivery of clinical care done primarily with residents and students, not independently. Core faculty work to support program leadership in the development, implementation and assessment of the program curriculum, and they work as a team for the education, training and support of the residents. The facilities of the network and patient population are ideal for a rich educational experience for psychiatry residents in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
