Physician - Pediatric Hospitalist - Grosse Pointe, MI
About The Position
Corewell Health is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and energetic pediatric hospitalist to join their team. The team provides comprehensive care for well newborns and those in the nursery, managing conditions such as hypoglycemia, mild respiratory distress/hypoxia, intensive phototherapy, and infection workups. Additionally, they care for patients aged 12 years and older admitted to the hospital. They also attend deliveries, perform neonatal resuscitation, and occasionally consult in the emergency department. The group is involved in quality improvement, clinical protocol creation, professional development, and other scholarly activities. The new physician would work in rotation providing in-house coverage 24/7. This is a Full Time Position: 1.0 FTE, 14 shifts (12 hours each) per month including Day and Night Shifts to provide 24/7 in-house coverage, with no outpatient work. There is an opportunity to work additional shifts for additional income if desired. The position offers a faculty appointment through Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine and is hospital employed.

Responsibilities
