The Inpatient Palliative Care team is seeking a compassionate Physician to join them providing consults to hospitalized adult patients. You will join a growing group of physicians, advance practice providers, nurses, chaplains, and social workers along with administrative support. Qualities needed for this role are compassion, flexibility, and a true desire to help your patients. As a Palliative Care physician you will work with our interdisciplinary team by providing health literacy, ascertain goals and then collaborate to find an appropriate treatment for patients. The Palliative Care team can manage symptoms, facilitate goals-of-care discussions, and coordinate with other healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes, reduce length of hospital stay, and enhance overall patient and family and provider satisfaction.
