About The Position

Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a Physician in the Pain Management department. This role involves conducting patient consultations, gathering medical histories, assessing symptoms, and performing physical examinations to diagnose medical conditions. The physician will order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop and implement treatment plans (including medications, therapies, or surgical procedures), and monitor patient progress. Key aspects also include educating patients and their families, collaborating with other healthcare professionals for comprehensive care, maintaining accurate medical records, and staying current with medical advances through continuing education and professional development. Adherence to medical ethics and legal standards in patient care and confidentiality is essential.

Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Residency training in a specialty area, such as internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, or psychiatry.
Board certification or eligibility in the appropriate specialty.
State medical license to practice medicine.
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical principles and practices.

Responsibilities

Conduct patient consultations to gather medical histories and assess symptoms.
