About The Position

Baptist Health Medical Group (BHMG), part of Baptist Health South Florida (BHSF), the largest healthcare organization in the South Florida region with medical practices spanning from Key West to Palm Beach, is seeking to employ an Orthopedic Spine Surgeon to join its well-established program at its Baptist Health Orthopedic Care (BHOC), which has been awarded four High Performing Hospitals ratings from U.S. News & World Report (2025-2026) for orthopedics, knee replacement, hip replacement and hip fracture. BHOC brings together board-certified fellowship-trained physicians in nine orthopedic subspecialties delivering comprehensive care and has performed more than 12,000 surgeries annually. Engaged in 15 sports medicine partnerships, BHOC provides care for athletes from the Miami HEAT, Miami Dolphins, Florida Panthers, InterMiami CF, Florida International University, Florida Atlantic University, Orange Bowl, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Miami Open Tennis and Miami Marathon & Half Marathon. Requirements

  • MD/DO from an accredited institution
  • Active and unrestrictive medical license (or eligibility for licensure by start date)
  • Satisfactory completion of all required due diligence tasks and credentialing
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS)
  • Additional ACGME-accredited fellowship training in Spine Surgery is required
  • Minimum 3 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in spine surgery
