About The Position
The Department of Psychiatry and the Bowles Center for Alcohol Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seek an Open Rank/Tenure Track physician or clinician scientist with significant experience in addiction research. The major expectation for this position will be to develop and maintain an independent clinical research program related to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence that fosters bridges between the basic science and the clinical addiction medicine program.
Requirements
- Significant experience in addiction research
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills
- Experience working with an inter-disciplinary team, including trainees from a variety of disciplines
Nice To Haves
- Candidates with postdoctoral training will be given preference
- Research experience relevant to alcohol and/or substance abuse and dependence disorders
- Record of relevant publications and scholarly activity
