The Division of Neonatology at Corewell Children’s Hospital is recruiting a BC/BE Neonatologist with exceptional clinical skills to join their busy practice. WBUH Children's is the prime affiliate of Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. It is the pediatric hub of the 8 hospital Beaumont Health System (3500 total beds, over 17,000 total newborns, 80,000 pediatric ER visits, 196 pediatric beds). The Neonatology Group covers 2 hospitals; one a level IV and the other a level III. Both facilities are located in the northern suburbs of Detroit, servicing the children and families throughout SE Michigan. The region is known as a superb location for families with exceptional public and private schools and recreational opportunities. WHUH Children's has longstanding, strong residency programs in pediatrics and medicine-pediatrics. Family practice residents from other Beaumont Health System hospitals as well as medical students from OUWB rotate through the NICU. They have a large group of highly qualified, dedicated NNPs who rotate between the 2 NICUs. Clinical research and quality improvement opportunities are available. Successful candidates will be appointed to the faculty of Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Corewell Health Children’s Hospital – Royal Oak is part of Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan, seeing 200,000 children and teens each year. Specially trained, in-house pediatricians oversee care in their 40-bed inpatient unit at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital. They also offer hospital care in Dearborn and Troy, as well as outpatient care across Southeast Michigan. The Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan Children’s network includes 400 pediatricians and 100 specialists, representing nearly every medical and surgical pediatric sub-specialty.
