This position provides comprehensive medical evaluations for MEPS applicants, ensuring full compliance with OSHA, Privacy Act, DoD, and USMEPCOM standards. The role involves reviewing medical records, conducting detailed histories and physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, and identifying disqualifying conditions. The Physician assesses all body systems, determines the need for additional exams, communicates abnormal findings to applicants, and updates medical staff for accurate database documentation. This part-time role, offering 2-3 shifts per week, is crucial in shaping the readiness of America’s Armed Forces, with predictable hours, zero call, and flexible shifts.
