A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify. This role provides comprehensive medical evaluations for MEPS applicants, ensuring full compliance with OSHA, Privacy Act, DoD, and USMEPCOM standards. Responsibilities include reviewing medical records, conducting detailed histories and physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, and identifying disqualifying conditions. The physician will assess all body systems, determine the need for additional exams, communicate abnormal findings to applicants, and update medical staff for accurate database documentation. This position requires on-site duties at one of the MEPS locations.
