About The Position

The IMA Group is seeking a Physician (MD/DO) to perform VA Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) disability evaluations. This is a flexible, part-time role, requiring 1 day per week, alternating between Syracuse and Watertown, NY. The position is evaluation-only, meaning no treatment or follow-ups are required, and there are no nights, weekends, or on-call duties. There is an opportunity to expand to a full-time schedule by adding General Medical exams. The role offers compensation of $180 per exam and supports Veterans through meaningful work within the Government Services Division of The IMA Group, which provides professional medical and psychological examinations to local, state, and federal agencies.

Requirements

  • MD or DO with an active New York license
  • Must meet qualifications to perform VA TBI exams
  • Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
  • Willingness to travel to Watertown 2x/month
