The Physician Liaison’s primary responsibility is to coordinate Practice marketing and public relations to promote the Practice to referring doctors and the communities in which offices are located. Acts as a liaison for referring doctors to ensure simple and efficient referral process. Analyzes marketing trends & generates reports. Acts as a liaison between VP of Business Development, Practice Manager, governing body & staff to develop successful marketing approaches. Performs clerical and administrative duties as directed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supports the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Practice. Supports Practice policies & procedures of the Practice. Communicates effectively with VP of Business Development, Practice Manager, governing body, co workers & referring doctors and their staff (as needed). Interactions are respectful and courteous. Maintains and protects each patient's right to confidentiality. Visits referring Doctors’ offices to promote Practice services to discuss patient care, referrals, new treatments, and thanking them for sending patient referrals. Conduct scheduled face-to-face meetings with targeted referral sources to uncover needs then deliver relevant and useful information specific to each contact – ultimately building a trusting and reliable relationship with that referring source. Delivers practice marketing materials to referring offices (i.e., physician cards, referral pads, etc). Schedules and coordinates meetings with referring doctors (i.e., lunches, dinners, etc.). Runs referral reports and submits results to VP of Business Development and/or Practice Manager. Analyzes referral reports and offers solutions to negative trends. Coordinating public relations campaigns and awareness efforts. Monitoring patient surveys to gather and analyze satisfaction and overall quality of care Works closely with the Marketing agency to develop and implement the organization’s social media strategy Effectively communicates with Practice doctors to establish marketing and public relations goals. Assists with design and materials for Brand awareness Schedules and oversees community activities, sponsorships, and corporate events (i.e., Cleft out 5k, golf tournament, Open house, food truck event, etc.) Coordinates continuing education activities (i.e., lunch and learns, lectures, speaking engagements, etc.). Monitors new dental professionals in community and pursues relationships with them. Orders office supplies used for marketing purposes. Performs interdepartmental errands when needed Assists with various correspondences and other duties for doctor. Attends and actively participates in meetings, committees, in-services, seminars, workshops, conferences, quality management activities according to job responsibilities and Practice requirements. Other duties as necessary.
