Introduction We are seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Physician Liaison to join the Medi-Weightloss team. This individual will play a key role in strengthening the connection between our clinics and the local medical community. The ideal candidate possesses established healthcare relationships, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping providers deliver better patient outcomes through effective weight management solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building long-term professional relationships and enjoys being the face of a respected healthcare brand.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in medical sales, physician liaison work, pharma sales, or healthcare business development strongly preferred.
- Existing relationships within the medical community are highly valued.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all organizational levels.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple provider relationships simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently in the field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and digital communication tools.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of weight management, wellness programs, chronic disease risk factors, or related healthcare fields is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with physicians, specialists, hospitals, wellness centers, and healthcare networks to increase patient referrals to Medi-Weightloss.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for referring providers, ensuring consistent communication, education, and support around Medi-Weightloss programs.
- Conduct in-person practice visits, lunch-and-learns, and informational sessions to educate providers and staff on the benefits of medically supervised weight loss.
- Identify and pursue new referral opportunities within targeted medical specialties such as endocrinology, cardiology, bariatrics, family medicine, OB/GYN, and internal medicine.
- Track physician feedback and competitive insights, reporting actionable information to leadership to enhance service offerings and partnership strategy.
- Collaborate with clinic leadership to align outreach efforts with patient growth goals and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of outreach activities within CRM tools, ensuring consistent follow-up and relationship management.
