Ochsner Health’s Department of Cardiology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible INTERVENTIONAL CARDIOLOGIST to join our established, very successful, rapidly expanding multispecialty group practice in Slidell, La. You will be joined by 6 cardiologists (3 non-invasive and 3 interventional) and 6 APPs at our Slidell Memorial Hospital as part of our nationally recognized cardiology group of over 80 cardiovascular clinicians practicing at multiple locations across southeast Louisiana. The successful candidate will be able to employ and lead with his/her full range of interventional skills in state-of-the-art catheterization laboratories. Slidell, La is North of Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans. Just 20 minutes from New Orleans, the Northshore region offers a family oriented low cost of living location with easy access to all the amenities of a city. Known for its many recreational programs for both adults and kids, excellent parks, frequent festivals and community events throughout the year, the Northshore has continued to attract residents to the growing area. Additionally, St Tammany Parish is ranked #1 for its outstanding, award-winning public school system. Position Highlights: No Structural! 1:6 Call (3-4 days) this includes STEMI call High volume outpatient and inpatient practice with ample room for growth Ancillary Support such as PAs & NPs in the hospital and in the clinic setting. 3 Cath Labs Open ICU - No CC rotation CTS backup Weekly Electrophysiology and Advanced Heart Failure MD support
