Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is seeking a skilled and passionate Interventional Cardiologist - Structural Heart Disease to join our esteemed team in Springfield, Illinois. As a nationally recognized leader in Cardiovascular care, we offer an opportunity for a dedicated physician to provide cutting-edge care to patients with complex structural heart conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of highly regarded cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons. Position Details • Outreach clinic opportunities • CRM: Medtronic, Boston Scientific, and Abbott. • High Volume structural heart practice with consistent procedural demand and a well-established patient base. • Comprehensive device experience with leading technologies, including Medtronic, Boston Scientific, and Abbott. • EPIC EMR • Collaborative cardiovascular team environment, working alongside 5 electrophysiologists, 6 general cardiologists, 5 interventional cardiologists, and 2 structural interventional cardiologists. • Executive Medical Director: Dr. Ziad Issa. Position Highlights • Well established, stable cardiovascular practice with strong referral patterns and a growing demand for advanced structural heart services • Exercise meaningful clinical autonomy while having the opportunity to influence the ongoing development and direction of the structural heart program. • Strong commitment to patient-centered, community-based care with a collaborative approach to multidisciplinary practice. • Participate in shared call coverage within a collegial group, designed to support work-life balance in a community-based setting.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted Illinois medical license and DEA (prior to start), BE/BC in Cardiovascular Disease
  • Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in structural heart interventions
