Full-Time Physician - Internal or Family Medicine

About The Position

This position will provide a full scope of primary care services including, but not limited to, the diagnosis, treatment, coordination of care, preventive care, and health maintenance for patients. Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- review patient histories
- perform physical examinations
- evaluate, diagnose, and provide appropriate treatment and patient care
- refer patients to specialists as needed
- review test results and recommend suitable management for patients
- prescribe medications
- formulate ongoing treatment and disease management plans
- communicate with the clinical team to ensure total delivery of quality care
- participate in medical staff educational programs and meetings
The physician will see an average of 25 to 27 patients per day. All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants.
The practice utilizes the Epic EHR. This position has no weekends, no evenings, and no on-call.

Requirements

• New York medical license
• DEA
• Board Certification or Eligibility, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• 1+ year practice experience strongly preferred
