About The Position

Vituity is seeking Board Eligible/Certified Hospital Medicine physicians to join their 100% physician-owned partnership at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, Pennsylvania. This ownership model provides autonomy, local control, and a national system of support, allowing physicians to focus on patient care. The practice at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital is a Stroke Center and Level II Trauma Center with a closed ICU. Subspecialty backup is available, excluding neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and rheumatology. Physicians can expect approximately 18 encounters per day and 10 encounters per night, utilizing Epic EMR. Intensivists handle codes, and no procedures or vent management are required for this role. The community of Darby, PA, offers historical significance, modern convenience, and easy access to Philadelphia's cultural sites and major league sports.
