The opportunity is for Board Eligible/Certified Emergency Medicine physicians. Candidates wanting to work in an academic setting with current residents are desired. The practice is at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut, which is a Level I Trauma Center, STEMI Receiving Center, and Stroke Center. It is a 617-bed medical center with a 70-bed Emergency Department, an annual volume of 70,000 with 192 patients daily, offering a good blend of acuity and diverse patient population. Epic EMR with Dragon dictation is used, and additional resources include ED case management and crisis clinician support. Vituity-staffed hospitalists offer integrated care solutions at this site. Hartford, Connecticut, is a historic and vibrant city that combines a rich cultural heritage with modern opportunities. Landmarks include the Mark Twain House & Museum and the Wadsworth Atheneum. Residents enjoy outdoor spaces such as Riverside Park and Bushnell Park. The city offers a lively arts scene and experiences all four seasons, conveniently located between New York City and Boston.
