Additional Job Description: Physician (Gastroenterology) West Virginia University Medical Corporation d/b/a University Health Associates seeks multiple Gastroenterologists. The successful candidates will be expected to practice in the primary locations of Morgantown, WV (Monongalia County) and Fairmont, WV (Marion County).

Requirements

• Professional medical degree, such as MD, DO, or foreign equivalent degree
• Completion of an appropriate residency program in Internal Medicine
• Completed fellowship in Gastroenterology
• Be board certified/eligible in gastroenterology
• Must be eligible to obtain state medical license
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Will provide comprehensive clinical care by diagnosing, treating, and preventing gastrointestinal disorders.
• Further, will be required to provide clinical instruction to students, residents and fellows and advancing initiatives in patient care.
