About The Position

Assists with clerical functions of work queue related work to include: Charge Review, Claim Edit, Follow Up, Charge Entry and Reconciliation functions, and any project or work tasks deemed appropriate by a Lead, Supervisor or other authorized Certified Coding team member Assists with clerical functions of work related for all areas of the coding department which include but may not be limited to, Coding Rejections, Production, Support, Systems, Research and Quality. Adheres to organization and departmental guidelines, policies and protocols. Meets then exceeds departmental quality and production standards. Perform all duties as assigned by leadership.

Requirements

  • None Required.
  • High School Graduate. Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or
  • No experience required.
  • Proficient computer skills including the use of Microsoft office products, electronic mail, including exposure or experience with electronic coding systems or applications.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and reading comprehension skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise independent judgment and decision making.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and work collaboratively with others.
