West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry seeks a Developmental-Behavioral Physician (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at other worksites, including but not necessarily limited to, West Virginia University Hospitals, Inc., West Virginia University Medical Corporation doing business as “University Health Associates,” [etc.] located in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania and, as such, travel is anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these other worksites The successful candidate will also join a dedicated interdisciplinary team of physicians, APPs, psychologists, neuropsychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and BCBAs who provide direct clinical services, training, and research through the Department of Pediatrics and the Neurodevelopmental Center. The Division of Child Neurology joins in the collaborative efforts of the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) Innovation Center, which is made up of a team of 280 dedicated faculty in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, and Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry. RNI provides compassionate patient care and advanced medicine through education, research, and outreach in the many diverse communities we serve. The Institute spearheads efforts to develop innovative solutions for neurological and psychiatric conditions across the lifespan.
