About The Position

The Department of General Surgery at Geisinger, a national leader in quality, innovation, research and education, is seeking a BC/BE Breast Surgeon at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania Comprehensive Breast Health Program : Onsite radiologists, pathologists, breast and plastic surgeons, psychologists, geneticists, nurse navigators, and a high-risk clinic ACR-accredited Breast Imaging Center of Excellence Blocked OR and clinic time Advanced Imaging Technology : 3D HD screening and diagnostic mammography Multimodality breast interventions including upright tomographic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies Fully integrated electronic health record (Epic) Academic & Research Opportunities : Opportunity to teach our residents and medical school students Participate in clinical trials and other research initiative Physician Support & Benefits : Support and leadership from a full range of dedicated, experienced specialists & subspecialists Straight salary model focused on quality and value—not productivity. • Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
